instead, i fled.

what was that saying, 'you look into the void long enough, the void starts looking into you'? that sentiment could work for anything, i suppose, not just the void (a-void?).
focus your attention on one thing for long enough and you enter its' world, perhaps find yourself confronted with a set of rules that you didn't consciously sign up for. my humble plans for behaviour modification involve becoming aware of where my attention rests--if it's not productive in some sense, i'm outta there, i'm skidaddling, i'm 23 skidoo.
