The Winter and Spring of Our Meh-ment

So this 'twas the scene from College Drive bridge a couple of days ago.  What a bloody winter it was, and it won't unclench!  Let go, already!

Night of a Thousand Gulls

 This was the scene on the way to the university library this evening.  Sixty kilometre winds today, but calmer by supper time.  Working on an essay on pornography.

By the time I walked home there were hundreds of gulls wheeling and cawing(?)--what do they call the sound gulls make?--above the river...o spring, you're so melodic.  Too dark to put in a picture, unfortunately....
