"We see we saw what did not move"

Thank you Mr. John Donne, now inspire me so I can finish this essay on you.
This is the land of living skies--I used to think that tagline was the cheese, now I think it's the bees knees. Saskatchewan gives excellent sky. Grand and open, you can project yourself into it...in high school I was all about the chrome-grey rolling puffs of clouds, it suited my dark and romantic moods. During the tree-planting years, it became an entity that I had an intimate relationship with. Was it going to rain on me?, scorch me?, yes yes I was the mouse to its snickering cat.
In the U.K. it's a whole different ball game. You're just happy when you can see it.
In the present, I visit the sky with Pooder, at dawn and dusk, and it never lets us down...it brings us up gently before breakfast, and floats us into a pleasant supper.
