instavintage: The Vernon View

Cripes what a long weekend, started with driving through the pouring rain to Saskatoon to a nice barbecue then off to a giant 30th birthday party for a very nice gal in a very nice house, replete with heated pool and hot tub, lots of drinks and blub blub blub.  I wished I had my camera there, then was sort of glad I didn't...up early on Saturday to walk the dog in a warm sunny city, breakfast in a pub with my sister, a nap--then the Champions League final, with Chelsea the improbable winners.  Congrats, Chelsea fans.  The afternoon turned into night, and then into daylight.  I have not partied like that for a looong while.  Old time hedonism, my gawd.  And Chelsea isn't even my team.
